This water decal is most unusual because of its shape and rarity. Note the propeller driven plane. The decal was probably produced in the early 1950s.
The actual shape of the decal follows the black outline and black, star-filled sky.
The decal's background card measures 3 7/8" x 3" and the decal itself is in pristine condition.
The airport as shown no longer exists having been totally rebuilt, and it is now rated as one of the major airports in the world.
This decal is considered very important since it depicts an actual landmark, the old Miami Airport, that is no longer in existence.
This unique decal is very hard-to-find today, and a must-have for any collection.
