Description

This is a very nice souvenir of the long-gone Summit Beach Amusement Park in Akron, Ohio.  It's a woman's coin case and compact dating to the 1920-1940s.  It's about 3.5" x 2.5" and is silver plated.  On the outside is a view of the old park in south Akron.  Inside there are slots for 2-3 dimes and quarters AND for a powder puff (not present).  The case needs a thorough cleaning; I'll leave that to the new owner.  I would think much of the tarnish could be removed.  The surfaces inside and out are pretty worn; the clasp on the outside works just fine; the clasp on the powder puff does not catch.  Nice souvenir -- and still usable!
