See below, REMEMBER to activate the amplifier keying in your TS-480 menu, Page 63 (suggested by my old friend Des, W7EDS)
1 Press [MENU/ F.LOCK], then turn the MULTI control to select Menu No. 28 (HF) or 29 (50 MHz). 2 Press [ ]/ [ ] to select “oFF”, “2”, or “3”.
We SUGGEST you use number 3 of your radio menu because the relay switching time in your amplifier may exceed 10 ms.
