    Description

I have a few items from a closed mail order business : Euclid Beach Memories.
This ornament is the entrance to one unique amusement park ride.
    A
    trackless
wooden chute was designed in 1929 for Euclid Beach Park
The Flying Turns vehicles closely resemble toboggans or monoplanes and freely navigated the smooth cypress trough with swiveling castor wheels made each ride  unique.
What was unusual about this ride was that each rider's
weight and position in the "wooden bobsled" would change how the monoplane would move in the chute.
It operated from 1930 to when the park closed in 1969.
    Ornament size is 3-1/4" x 3-1/4"
