Beautiful Antique Hand Carved Carousel Horse w/ Custom Stand, EXC ORIGINAL COND!

Description

This is a beautiful hand carved carousel horse with nice color and detail. Great shape and very solid, with just a few scuffs and scrapes. Could not find an artists signature, but looks to be a one of a kind piece. I made the stand that’s shown starting with a piece of barn beam. Two dowels fit the existing holes that were under the chest and a hole was drilled in the base for the peg that was on the left rear hoof. It displays the horse perfectly level with front legs elevated. Didn’t glue it so it can easily be taken it apart for transport. On the stand it measures 40” high, 34” long and 9” wide. The horse by itself measures approximately 36” long, 34” high, and 8” wide. Not sure what it’s carved out of, but it weighs about 25 lbs.
