ANTIQUE WOOD AUTHENTIC CAROUSEL SWAN & CUPID MERRY-GO-ROUND BENCH FINE CONDITION

While I believe this is a United States carving, I have no proof of  that...however, I can guarantee it is old, a true antique folk art sculpture and carousel bench.  It bears the last park paint job it ever had, a thoughtful nice quality job, and I can also guarantee that the hand who painted this also painted its mate that is for sale in another antique shop in Wisconsin.  That one is being offered there for considerably more than my starting bid.  This example this has its original "buggy style" soft seat, stiffened and showing age, but intact.  It measures approx. 54" L x 22" W x 35" H, and was likely intended for a modest or small carousel...which gives it a degree of appeal.  Spaces between wood sections have slightly separated due to age drying, as you can see in the last photo which shows the separation on the wood floor.  The bench has recently been given large swiveling casters so it can be pushed along the ground without difficulty.  It must weigh around 200 pounds, so I am not offering shipping unless the buyer has some instructions about how to do that and will take responsibility for that.
