This tee class 3000 is a stainless-steel 304/304L t-shaped pipe fitting with female socket welds on the run and branches for connecting a total of three pieces of pipe. The tee fitting changes flow direction and the socket weld connections have internal recesses on the inside diameters to allow for a smooth bore and better fluid flow. This class 3000 pipe fitting that has been forged for durability and is made from stainless steel 304/304L for corrosion resistance. Class is a standard relating to tolerance, construction, dimension, and wall thickness, but it is not a direct measurement of maximum working pressure. This fitting meets standards ASTM A182, ASME SA182, and ANSI B16.11 for quality assurance.
