Vintage or antique Chinese carved carnelian bead necklace. The beads have melon style carving and are 1 cm in diameter. Beads are hand knotted. Clasp is gold gilt over sterling, marked 'Silver.' 25" long. 76.5 grams total weight. No damage, only slight wear consistent with age/use. See photo for measurements. From a local estate sale.
