Now here's some history on the tanks and the ride itself...
In the 1980's & 90's "Tank Tag" was one of the most exciting and popular attractions to appear on the midway at amusement parks coast to coast.  These tanks were manufactured by Foster Mfg. Co.  Although still in business, they no longer manufacture amusement park products.  According to the company, the cost was over ,000 each in the late 1980's.  Foster made less than 100 of this model tank.  There were several different styles of tanks.  One and two person models.  There were even boats with the ability to shoot racquetballs from compressed air cannons in either case.  All of the parks with the "Tank Tag" offered additional, protected, single, offensive only shooting cannons.  Surrounding the tanks were patrons who could purchase a bucket of balls and shoot at the  moving tanks.  Unfortunately, "Tank Tag" employees that had to help a stranded or stalled tank became the "targets" themselves while administering help.  This liability might have contributed to the "Tank Tags" future demise.
My personal history on these tanks...
According to the manufacture, these tanks were originally sold to an amusement park in San Diego. These two tanks have been in my possession for over 20 years.  I have repaired and restored them as close to their original operating condition as possible.  All of the fiberglass was repaired and the tanks repainted.  I fabricated new protective steel "bumper rails" all around each tank to avoid damage to the fiberglass.  I replaced all the windows with new Lexan Plexiglas.  I added on additional larger air storage tank on each tank, more than doubling the number of cannon shots to approximately 25 before needing an air refill.  I had four of the five racquetball cannons CNC machined new as I only had one when I first acquired the tanks. The hydraulic system was professionally checked and serviced.  I had the gas motors tuned up and serviced.  I fabricated the tank ammo storage shelves for the 25 balls needed during the operation of the ride.  All of the different targets were my design and fabricated and powder coated in multiple colors for fun and interest.  Besides my children & grandchildren enjoying hours of fun with these "toy tanks" and accessories, I have also taken them to many company events, birthday celebrations, holiday's and neighborhood parties for a fun attraction that everyone can enjoy.
Did I mention, just to add a little more fun to the attraction, I fabricated the 3 person shooting platform to give 3 people the opportunity to either shoot at the tanks or the targets in the containment cage.  With a 1/4" air line and the 110 electric supply to the solenoids, you can shoot until you run out of balls before running out of air!
    Disclaimers:
    1. A separate air compressor, not provided, but is necessary for all of the cannons to operate
    2. This is an adult toy and not for children without parental supervision.  These racquetballs are leaving the cannon at over 140 PSI.
    3. I will give complete instructions on how to operate equipment.
    4. Shipping is at buyers expense.
    5. 45 minutes is the time necessary to lift fiberglass body from frame for access or servicing.
This is a once in lifetime, truly unique opportunity that can never be duplicated!  This is one fun and authentic amusement park ride!
