1972 Yamaha CT2

1972 YAMAHA CT2 175cc:
This vintage Yamaha enduro is ready for dirt or street, currently licensed and registered in California. It has an aftermarket enduro front fender with mounting bracket (because I like the look). I do not have an OEM front fender (because I don’t like the look).
Bike was completely disassembled and everything was cleaned and inspected or replaced (or painted or powder coated) before reassembly.
Complete engine service which included: New bearings, seals, gaskets, clutch, piston, rings (bored to 2
nd
over).  Oil pump was rebuilt with new seals and bearings.
Everything black was powered coated (or painted).  Everything red or silver was painted.  Everything chrome or steel was polished
Fuel tank is rust free with new petcock and new rubber parts for gas cap.  The oil tank is rust free with new site window and oil cap.  Forks were rebuilt with new seals and wipers.  Exhaust was torched before painting to remove all oil residue.
Other new parts include: Engine Allen bolt set, cables, tires, tube, fuel lines, oil lines, vent lines, seat cover, seat foam, air filter, horn, flasher relay, battery, brakes, fuses, and lighting bulbs.
The service manual and original tool kit (inside tool compartment) are included in the sale of this bike.
I had intended to keep this bike when I restored it but I just haven’t had the time to ride it and have other projects in need of garage space.  My loss will be your reward as it runs like a top and needs nothing.
