Crimp PL-259 Connector for RG-8-X, LMR-240 and may also be used with RG-59, a 75-Ohm Coax. The connectors come in individually sealed packaging. The manufacturer's technical data sheet complete with coax cable stripping dimensions, crimp die cavity sizes as well as complete assembly instructions is also included.
We also include a sufficient length of polyolefin 2:1 ration heat shrink tubing to install adding additional cable support and attractiveness to your installations.
The coax braid to body attachment is by crimping only, attachment of the coax center conductor may be by crimping, soldering or both solder + crimping.
The Hex Crimp die cavity sizes are .255-inch for the braid to body and .068-inch for the center tip. We not only offer the complete crimp tool but individual dies for other sizes. Our dies fit most other
brand tool frames as well.

Mechanical:
Construction consists of a 100-micron nickel plated brass body & coupling nut, a 200-micron Silver plated brass center pin for low contact resistance and the dielectric is Diallyl Phthalate (DAP) known for its permittivity, strength and high withstanding voltage over a wide range of frequencies and temperatures. The coupling nut has a robust knurling allowing for better finger grip facilitating connection and disconnection.
Electrical:
50-Ohm impedance, variable, DC to 300-Mhz (Commonly used in 450-512 Mhz range), Voltage Rating of 500V Peak.
